. michigan state has just won the 100th edition of the rose bowl. there were a lot of sad faces inside the old pro sports bar. and about 30 minutes ago, there was a mass exodus of cardinal red leaving the barn in the waning seconds of the game. the few michigan state fans who bravely watched the game inside were yelling and cheering. now this contest was a nail biert. it was close most of the game. fans on both sides were biting their nails and their eyes were glued to the screen. this was the second year in a row stanford was in the rose bowl. michigan state hasn't smelled the roses since 1988. so it's been a long time. we found one young couple, a stanford fan and a fan of michigan state, they live together. having both of their teams in the rose bowl was special. >> it's exciting. i graduated in 2009. so before things got big in football. it's exciting for me. >> i've been out here for about three years. i'm used to being a minority as a michigan state fan. it okay. spartans never get scared so it's okay. >> well, he's on cloud nine right now. as for his girlfriend, let's just say,
